Preparation and Tribocorrosion Performance of Different Si-Doped TiSiN-Ag Coatings on Different Substrates in Seawater

TiSiN-Ag composite coatings with different Si doping contents were prepared by multi-arc ion plating technology on 316L, TC4, and H65 copper substrates, respectively. The microstructure of the was characterized X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive spectroscopy, mechanical properties, electrochemical tribological properties a micro-hardness tester, workstation, scratch friction wear Results showed that 8 wt.% content had smaller average grain size, denser structure, excellent better anti-tribocorrosion performance than those 5 content. coating TC4 substrate presented best combination is candidate for an material in seawater.
